15th Japan Society for Hellenistic-Islam Archaeological Studies

Japan Society for Hellenistic-Islam Archaeological Studies intends to convene an Annual meeting on West and Central Asian Art history, architectural history and Archaeology, 15 and 16 November 2008 at Kanazawa. Scholars and interested individuals are requested to submit their papers to the secretariat not later than October 5, 2008 by email to tatsuosasaki@mail.goo.ne.jp.It would be gratefully appreciated if those interested in attending this year¡Çs study meeting would send the registration form and papers. There are rooms at Kanazawa university guest house for those that require accommodation. Details of this year¡Çs provisional program and paper abstracts will be placed on the webpage (http://cid-7edb0c1c7c6e7970.skydrive.live.com/browse.aspx/Japan%20Society%20for%20Hellenistic-Islam%20Archaeological%20Studies¡ËFull paper will be published in the end of this year.

Japan Society for Hellenistic-Islam Archaeological Studies is a non-profit making organization and we very much regret that traveling fees to Kanazawa must be paid by all, including those presenting papers. We are keen to encourage individuals that wish to present posters at the meeting. If you are interested in offering a poster at this year¡Çs meeting please bring it with you to the meeting. We very much look forward to seeing you at the Study meeting in November.
